MYSTIC WARRIER:
My medium is 100% imported rag paper stained and washed with watercolor pigment. My subject matter reflects Native American themes based on research through museums and private collections, however, the end product is based upon my own interpretation and imagination. The cotton rag paper is shaped, braided, woven or laced to create three dimensional objects which I refer to as "Dimensional Watercolors." The finished piece is museum mounted; the backing is usually linen or silk and it is enclosed in a shadow boxframe with plexi or glass. Conservation care should be followed as for any work on paper.
